9/11 Awards Luncheon
American Legion Post 163 honored local Law Enforcement, Fire Fighters and First Responders at an 9/11 Awards Luncheon on September 11, 2016 at the Veterans Memorial Hall in Alturas, California. Recipients were nominated by their local department and given a plaque from the American Legion.
Lunch included Salad, Stuffed Pork Chops, Green Beans, Mashed Potatoes and Dessert, which was prepared by Lisa Lauderdale with the help of Tina Lopez, Linda Newman, and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

Alturas Police Department did not nominate anyone in 2016
